I am selling my time capsule 2004 Porsche 911 (996) GT3 with 6 speed manual transmission and 26,xxx miles. Car comes with original two keys, manual, service booklets, and tools. Car has never been tracked. VIN: WP0AC29904S692151
The car has the following options:
39 Black Leather
454 Cruise Control
573 AC with Full Climate Control
A1 Black
M6A Black Mats Porsche Lettering
P74 Xenon Headlamp Package
X70 Metal Door Sill Model Insignia
X71 Aluminum Instrument Dials
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrests
XSX Seat Belt-Guards Red
I had the following work performed at Motorsport SLC and Strong Porsche:
- 08/10/17 at 21K miles: air filter, fuel filter, oil change, serpentine belt, power steering pump, power steering line, belt rollers, belt tensioners, exhaust gaskets, water pump $2,860
- 09/03/17 at 21K miles: coolant pipes welding, inlet coolant hose, return coolant hose, thermostat, etc $3,768
- 4/10/18 at 24K miles: paint correction and CS2 Pro ceramic coating $1,350
- 4/29/19 at 26K miles: alarm control module, two new keys $1,626
History
I bought the car in August 2017 from Ferrari dealership in Scottsdale, AZ. The car had 19,000 miles at the time, ran like new, and had healthy DME report.
Body
Exterior is in amazing condition. I had paint correction performed along with 5 years CS2 Pro Ceramic Coating by Envision Detail in Salt Lake City. Paint is very glossy and has no swirl marks. The only negative is the half clear bra in the front that does not look as good as the rest of the body.
Interior
Interior is like new. The car came with red seat belts, aluminum gauges, and aluminum door sills as the specified options. Seats are in excellent condition, carpet is perfect, dashboard has no cracks, and everything works like it should.
Mechanical
The car starts right up every time and is very responsive in any gears. Transmission is properly strong, engine has no CEL, suspension works well as GT3 should, steering is perfect. AC is ice cold and heater is properly hot.
Asking price is $80,000. The 996 GT3 is the best driver's car I have ever owned. The sound the motor makes when the rpm winds up to 8200 rpm is intoxicating. It truly is a legendary car and will be sorely missed. Title is in my possession for easy transaction.

If my memory serves me right, what’s important was when the range 2 over rev happened.
In this case, the last range 2 happened at 145.4 operating hour. The car currently has 970.8 operating hour and 26,800 miles, so the range 2 happened roughly around 4,000 miles. Maybe the first owner was overtly happy to get the car out of the break-in period? If anything were to break, it would have broken a long time ago.

I cannot PM you for some reason? I have service records since I owned it (2 years and the latest 7000 miles).
Car has zero mods and there is no issue that I am aware of. Porsche SLC and Motorsport both said it’s a very nice clean car.
You can reach me at (801)809-8178 if that helps. Thanks!
