  The Mezger twin-turbo 3.6L flat-six produced 480 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 460 lb-ft of torque between 1,950-5,000 rpm when new. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. According to Porsche, a 2009 Turbo cabriolet in this configuration could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds on to a top speed of 193 mph. Service records accompany the sale, with work in August 2018 consisting of a new turbo coolant line, left front CV boot, and an oil change. A transferable extended warranty started on July 31, 2016 and provides coverage for 48 months or 48k miles. The contract is pictured in the gallery.
  
  GT Silver Metallic was a $2,430 option, and is accented with a Metropol Blue soft top as seen above. All-red taillights were also an optional extra. This car is equipped with factory 19´´ alloy wheels, which were mounted with new Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires in August 2018. This car was optioned without a rear badge according to the window sticker, however a badge has since been affixed as pictured below.
  
  Inside, the heated adaptive sport seats feature GT Silver Metallic backs. As with all 997 Turbos, stitched leather covers the seats, door panels, rear panels, center stack, and dashboard. A short throw shifter has been fitted. Interior options include a painted lower center console, Bluetooth, Sport Chrono, color-matched floor mats, a universal audio interface, illuminated door sill guards, and silver seat belts. The digital odometer indicates approximately 40k miles, 10k of which have been added by the seller over two years of ownership.
  
  The included Carfax is accident and damage-free. The accident-free Carfax reports California ownership from new until moving to Utah in 2017. Linear odometer accumulation through 30k miles is listed, along with a number of service history records. This Porsche is financed through the seller's bank and will need to be paid off to transfer title to the next owner.
  
  During the seller's ownership the front spoiler was dinged on a curb and taken to be touched-up. The seller was reportedly unhappy with the result, and subsequently commissioned Auto Works & Company in Oakland, California to repaint the entire exterior. There were never any accidents on this car just usual blemishes cars get over the years when they are actually driven. My mechanic gave me a suggestion for an auto body shop so the seller sent it there for repair on the front bumper. Given it was going thru insurance, he opted to have them repair any other small dings it had incurred over the years prior. They repaired the front bumper, left fender, and a blemish on the hood. They replaced & repaired parts with original porsche parts if needed, repaired corner panel, primed, painted and refinished paint. When the seller got the car back, the paint job was not up to his or his mechanic's standards. To the naked eye one would not notice the paint job issues but to someone who owns and knows porsches well, it was obvious upon further examination. Rather than keep it as is, the seller took it to a different body shop that had extensive expertise in porsches. He had the car for over a month re-doing the paint job. You cannot just blend this paint job with the rest of the car to have it right, you have to repaint the entire car. I opted to spend the $7k or whatever it was to have it done right and perfect, otherwise I would know and wouldn't be happy with it. No point in doing something unless it is done perfectly or to the best possible result.
  
  In the summer of 2018, the car's coolant lines began leaking. The first assumption was the leak was due to the coolant pinning but after further investigation the issue was much less severe. The coolant leak was discovered under the intake manifold after removing the engine. The parts that failed are the hoses under the passenger side of the intake manifold. The plastic elbow was broken and 2 of the rubber hoses on either side were also split open.
