Description:
I'm looking for a high mileage coupe 997, I'm not opposed to other series, but I love the looks of the 997. I must have Silver, Red, or Black with Black interior. Standard, 3 pedal, transmission. No turbos/AWD. If you have other colors just post a picture or link. I'm not scared of modifications. Please spread the word.

I have a GT Silver 2006 997.1 C2S 6 speed with roughly 110k but there was a new motor installed by Porsche at around 53k miles (I have paperwork proving it has been replaced).

Todd, I just saw your post while perusing through RL. I have an 05 997 that I have been thinking about selling. I bought a new Cayman 718S last year and promised the wife I would eventually part with the 911. Owning both now I'm not sure I want to let it go as the 997 is truly a special car that I know I will miss and regret selling in a few years, but parting with it was part of the 718 purchase.
I don't have an ad drafted yet so you'll be the first one on RL to hear about this, but I figured I would shoot you some quick stats. If you have a serious interest let me know and I can get you the full details.

Todd,
Not quite high mileage, but I've also considered listing my 36K mile 2007 997 Carrera S. Black on black with black sport wheels. 6-spd. Fabspeed air intake. I'm closer to the $45K mark if you have any interest.

I currently have a 997.1 2006. I'm flexible on pricing, and the engine has been fully rebuilt(IMS bearing replaced as well). Transmission has been rebuilt as well as the oil and water pumps.
It is a rebuilt title, but I have all documentation as well as before and after pictures(salvaged based on engine damage - none of the rest of the body).

I purchased the car from a salvaged vehicle auction(Copart) - the rear left section of the oil pan had been damaged, with no other damage. From what mechanics have told me, it doesn't show signs of low oil - but rather a IMS bearing blown, with potentially a coverup of damaging that area to make it insurance coverable. But I cant confirm that. The mechanic guessed, knowing the IMS problems 997.1 problems have, the owner had a backup plan in case of IMS failure - namely backing his car over a curb in a parking lot. He had seen similar in his shop.
It was rebuilt (resleeved cylinders along with loads of other items fixed) by 9xx motors in long beach.
Supposedly there are exhaust upgrades and suspension, but I am uncertain on those. A partner and I purchased the vehicle as a test for starting a rebuilt title dealership, and decided against it after the total costs came back. It has updated lights and bumpers on both rear and front. Similarly has GTS seats
If you're open for a car with a story - this car will be a steal compared to what I am seeing on this forum. If there is a way to exchange contacts, I am happy to send you more pictures etc.
