I sold a low mi, perfect 997, no stories car this week. Sold lots of toys over the years but at my advance age I gave this car to Shift Bespoke to sell. Simply no time to deal with the P car crowd.

Best 10% I ever spent.

Good luck with your car. All the right mods that I would do. Many others would too.

Really nice car - pretty tempting actually. Looks like the repairs were done well. Question - do you have any current interior shots? The ODO in the steering wheel shot reads 21,375 and the car is listed with 60,100

Wow I'm really stunned this hasn't sold. I so wish I wanted a black car. We all say things about being shocked without truly meaning it. It so much applies in this case. Everything I could want in a car exxept color and an incredible price. Several GTS have sold in the last 6 months which were nowhere near the package available here. Good luck Sandwedge.

Someone buy this car! Unreal it is still available at that price. If 6MT I bet it would have sold for the original asking price...

his is is an amazing ride and someone is going to get a killer deal!

I know that's a bad shot. I took it after I customized the steering wheel right after I bought it almost 5 years ago. Only reason I used the picture is that nothing has changed except the mileage. I'm the only driver, no track time, no kids, always garaged and always serviced on schedule. Looking at this car in person you would never know it has over 60,000 miles on it. Think I have a buyer finally. Had a long conversation with him today and I'll be shocked if he doesn't follow through. But then....I think I've said that before This guy is in NY but has a local friend who's a "car buff" according to the buyer so we'll be meeting up early next week.

Thank you. That's the impression you get reading threads on the RL 997 forum. Having said that, you'd be surprised how many inquiries I've had asking if I have the OEM seats and wheels available. Weird.

No matter how many times you've said it I will never understand that. Better, lighter, and way more expensive but people want the original? Good grief.

You may not understand it but "people" doesn't mean everyone. Ever saw this thread: Show me your 997 with non-Porsche wheels https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...he-wheels.html

54 pages and 804 posts to date. One of the longest threads on the forum. Started long ago but is being added to on a regular basis. Still, according to you, "people want the original" ? I won't even bother to ask about the rationale behind your opinion.

Hey sandwedge. I'm interested, but I don't have enough posts for PM. Can you give me a call or text at (310) 663-2796?

im curious about the Carfax, as the link would not allow me to view without purchasing. Does the rear end/minimal front end damage that resulted in $16k in work show on the report? I had an impact with a deer less than 8 months after purchasing mine, and it showed almost immediately.
Between the standard packages and options, and then mods and price, I would almost consider going PDK instead of manual given this build and price. Amazing. Wish it was manual. GLWS.

Thank you. As for the seats I don't think the 996 seats would help me. Those who bitch about the GT2 buckets want the OEM GTS seats with alcantera. Besides, I have what seems like two serious buyers now who see the buckets (and the wheels) as a plus. Just waiting to get the car back from the shop so they can look at it.

Well.....there were some here who thought this car was a steal at the original price of $69K when I first listed it so.....
