This model is regarded by many as one of the best 944's to buy. It has a 3 litre, 4 valve motor putting out 208 hp. Lots of torque compared to the early 944. Also has the suspension and brakes from the turbo model. Canadian car, my friend bought it new and I was working on his race car team at the time. I bought it from him in 2000 with around 76,000 Km. I drove the car when it was a only few months old and have known all it's history. I used to put it into winter storage at our race shop every year. It has spent most of it's life indoors in a heated garage so it is in very good condition. No rust, no cracks on the dash. All original except stereo upgraded to a 3 disc CD, still have original cassette. Latest timing belt was last summer and it has minimal kms since. This car has rarely needed service and has never let me down. Rubber is around 2 years old. Rear window in top is cracked and cloudy, I have a good used roof but have not had the time to switch it. Dash clock is cloudy as usual but other than that everything works as as it should. I will add underside pictures soon. Forgot to add that the car has heated sport seats and ltd slip diff.
