My wife has a Macan S and I have a Panamera TT (2010). The Macan feels newer, I suppose to be expected. I only have 19K miles on my Pan Turbo. The Pan Turbo feels a bit more "crafted" but I think the Macan drives a little smoother with the newer PDK box. I guess it comes down to what you're looking for. I don't prefer being high off the ground. The Panamera handles better but the Macan is no slouch in that department. I think they would feel somewhat similar although if you go with the 4.8 TT, it will of course be faster. It's not going to be transformative feeling like going to a 911 Turbo but probably enough to feel a bit sportier. Not sure that's helpful, but the Macan has brought a lot of what the Panamera had in the past. Not sure if you're looking at a 971 Panamera. I haven't driven one yet.

Are you looking at a new body style panamera?

The option of rear axle steering really makes the panamera feel a lot more alive. The main issue with the previous gen panamera was primarily ride quality over bad roads- the SUVs are always softer than the GTS or TT panamera. If you live somewhere with tons of inclement weather the extra SUV style ground clearance could be a difference maker.
