It is on the front passenger door, while the other three doors are fine so far. Interestingly, the car was used mostly with only the driver driving and no one else in it.

Crack in the paint? Picture?

Would suspect damage from road debris absent picture that presents contrary evidence ...

I posted about this on the macanforum and am hearing from some other people with the same problem. Mine is on the driver's side rear door. No sign of impact to the handle.

Looks like it got cut vs defect looking at at the ends something was slicing it. Question is how if that is the case. Doesn't look like it cracked like that. Mike

In-person it looks a bit different. Looks more like the material is very thin in spots and it cracked from temp changes or something similar. I've seen another photo from a different owner that looked very similar.

Wow. Finally someone responded to this, which I even neglected myself. My cracks look very similar to IcanC's except they are on the underside and I got them on all doors except the driver's door. The dealer will get it fixed when the car is getting serviced in a few months.

I asked the person at the dealer and I was told I am not the only one with this problem

One of the owners on the Porsche Macan forum just announced that his three cracked door handle covers will be picked up under warranty by Porsche.

Same problem with the 2018. Cracks showing on the rear driver side door, which is never used. So sign of anything hitting the handle. No scratches or dings and it is black so would definitely show any kind of impact mark.

Porsche is well aware of the issue and has given us access to updated handles. Dealer should cover under your factory warranty.
