GIAC Tuning for Macan Turbo Now Available at TAG Motorsports
GIAC software is now available for the Porsche Macan Turbo (3.6L V6 twin turbo engine). Peak engine estimate gains are 56 horsepower and 81 ft. /lbs. of torque over stock, on 91 octane fuel. Engine estimates of the GIAC tuned Macan Turbo are 455 HP and 495 TQ as opposed to the original 418 HP and 426 TQ. This software calibration accommodates 91-93 octane (95-98 RON) fuel, as well as the factory exhaust and intake system. The program retains smooth drivability and offers dramatic and consistent power improvements over the OEM software.
Notable features include the following:
-Optimized torque control for smoother, faster shifting
-Properly recalibrated air/fuel ratios
-Improved throttle response for a drive-by-cable system feel
-Dynamometer test results from an MD-500 Mustang dyno are included here. Wheel HP and TQ gains are 33 and 62 respectively. The graph plots power tests (wheel HP and TQ) for a 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo. The red line denotes a completely stock Macan Turbo with OEM software, exhaust, intake and charge cooler, on 91 octane. The green line denotes a run with the same Macan Turbo with GIAC 91 octane software, OEM exhaust, OEM intake and OEM charge cooler, also on 91 octane.

GIAC Tuning is now available for Macan GTS as well!!
GIAC performance calibrations are now available for the Porsche Macan GTS (30L V6 twin turbo engine). This program is designed to optimize power and torque using 91-93 octane and no other hardware upgrades. Basic upgrades like the sport exhaust are also supported. Power delivery and drivability are both smooth and responsive. On 91 octane fuel, gains are as high as 65 HP and 101 ft lbs of torque at the wheels in some areas of the power band. Peak engine gains are estimated at 38 horsepower and 119 ft. /lbs. of torque at over stock, on the same 91 octane fuel.
Notable features include the following:
properly recalibrated air/fuel ratios,
improved throttle response for a drive-by-cable system feel,
optimized torque control for smoother, faster shifting.
The graphs below plot horsepower and torque for a 2016 Porsche Macan GTS. The engine horsepower and torque graphs are estimated from wheel dyno tests on a Mustang MD500SE dynamometer using a correction value of 1.92. A wheel dyno comparison is also included.
