Questions in looking at preowned Macan S's
As stated, currently looking at some regional Macan S's as it would be a nice replacement to some vehicles we own now and are looking at getting out of.
What are the musts in options with these? I am not overly familiar and have read through some threads surrounding the options such as exhaust, PASM, etc., but what matters more so from those of you who have potentially upgraded from an S to a Turbo or GTS?
Any smoking deals, feel free to send them my way also
Thanks all.

Sold my S and moving to a GTS...
Not much difference between the 2 versions, I just got a good price for my S...
No need for Air suspension IMHO.
Here is what I consider essential (very personnal):
-Exhaust
-Nice wheels with summer tires
-Premium package (get some luxo things, easier when its time to sell)
-Bose sound system is good enough
You will like it, great DD, tons of fun in the snow, practical and not too big
Cheers

I think basically you should be looking for what features are standard on the GTS plus sport chrono, then deciding whether you want or need the roof rails, pano roof, Bose, nav, and/or cargo management system. Apart from that, everything else is pretty much personal preference (e.g. sport seats).

In My opinion,
Either of the 20" wheels. Prefer the Syder Wheels but Macan Sport Design is also nice
I would say 95% will at least be equipped with premium package, Premium plus add's entry and drive (keyless entry) and PDLS. Once most people have Keyless entry they dont want to go back. Also note just because the car does not have premium plus does not mean it does not have Entry and drive. It can be added separate.
If you need rails or hitch obviously look for that. The hitch can be added aftermarket but it's expensive. The rails cannot be added after market.
Bose (you wont see Burmester on many S Macans anyway)
Surround view is pretty cool if you can find it.
Air suspension is Meh.
Sport exhaust is awesome but can be hard to find on S level
Don't know how much I would want Sport Chrono, it's neat to have and will probably help some in resale but how often are you going to be using launch control in your Macan?
As for good deals I suggest looking for service loaners from dealers. Low miles and lots of legs left on CPO warranty.
If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me. I'm very familiar with Macan options.

used Macan S
Just got our S, looked for a long time at many. Guess I was too fussy with some options and color. No black/black for us.
Premium Package Plus I think is a definite. Includes many nice features.
Lane Change Assist is very nice.
the Walnut Interior trim shows nicely rather than just black plastic.
Walnut steering wheel looks nice but gets very hot when left parked in sun, you may want to pass on it.
Rear camera is a must.
Nav is nice but not fantastic.
Not much in "deals" out there, but watch the porsche.com inventory they list lots of units all over the country.
Good luck
