Default Buffeting Noise with Windows Down

On a nice day with comfortable temperatures, it would be nice to let the windows down for some fresh air but, even with the pano roof open, the noise is deafening. A potential solution would be the Weathertech Side Window Deflectors:
http://www.weathertech.com/side-window-deflectors/
They reduce noise as well as allow the windows to be opened slightly while raining or while parked to reduce interior temperature. Trouble is, they don't yet make them for the Macan. I've filled out their product request form but, if you agree, please do likewise. The more who request them, the more they'll take notice.

I'm not convinced they will reduce noise, especially booming. What makes you say that they will?

I have installed them on our F150 SuperCrew with positive results and likewise on the F250 SuperCab before it. They do help, especially at speeds below 45 mph and, most certainly, to allow the windows to be slightly down while parked to minimize interior temperatures, even if it should rain. That alone, makes them a worthwhile addition.

Have you tried lowering the rear passenger windows a couple of inches? That trick works with other vehicles to cure the buffeting issue.

It works! Pleasant temps so went for a drive today with the front windows all the way down and back windows down about 2 inches...No buffeting through a variety of speeds. Many thanks!

Glad it worked. You can also move air around the cabin depending on which window is open. Oddly, if you want a gentle breeze crack both passenger side front and rear about 2". Swirls around the car with nothing blaring right in your face.
