The OP asked for opinion's. I gave him mine. Doesn't mean I am correct. I have just been window shopping Macan's for my wife for some time.
To put it another way, mine is a beautifully loaded Macan Turbo with 1.7k miles and 44 months remaining new Porsche warranty, and the BEST trade-in offer I got was 19% below my original MSRP on a trade towards a really nice 2016 991 GTS at a full retail price, 10% below its original MSRP.

So if I understand you. You got 19% below MSRP for your trade? That would seem that a 10-13% discount off private party sale would seem about right? I might be confused, sorry. Yours had 1,700 and OP's has 6K. I think I am in the ballpark, maybe not.

That was the best offer for mine. The next best one was $71k, 23% below my MSRP. Admittedly, I was rushed by my need to migrate north this month...

Great taste in cars! DBM is great, perfect IMO with garnet. Let me know when you decide Ina price, would nicely match my GT3 in the same color.

Now let's see some pics of that OTO! Came close to buying one a year ago.

Thanks all. I think I'd take low 80s on it. Maybe $82k. I am putting in a 991.2 order today. Won't be in until Jul/Aug and I really don't need the Macan anymore, but not in a rush to have a fire sale. Unfortunately consigning cars is not legal here in KY or my dealer could have just put it on the lot to see what they could get.

If anyone wants my vehicle CPOd, my local dealer will do it for about $3k more.

As for the OTO, here are a few...

I'm not sure you can buy "all day long" at 13% off. There are a few dealers with a leftover car or two, but the vast majority aren't giving them away. The other factor really becomes build specs. If you want a turbo with CF, PASM, tow hitch, sport chrono/exhaust, etc, the options become limited. I know because when I ordered mine, I couldn't find one on a lot anywhere in the country with it. Someone who wants all those options is likely going to order one. I can save them at least 10% off MSRP and even get it CPOd if they want. I didn't want to settle for what was on a lot - likely a white or black vehicle lightly optioned or optioned with stuff I didn't want. To each their own though. If I can't sell it at $82k I can always drop it later. Not in a rush, I'll take a reasonable deal.

Thanks. I'm not that good though lol.

The vehicle is 7 years old and STILL smells of leather! In the space world we use this exact example of the concept of outgassing haha

Thank you. As a Sox/Pats fan, it hits the mark dead on haha. Seriously it's awesome. Beautiful but not overdone. My dealer was hesitant when I ordered it but after it came in he said was really taken back by how well it worked. They just did a GTS in the same color as well. Looked awesome!

Mine also has 44 months left. Trade and retail are obviously not the same, but we are in the same ballpark. You should be able to get at least 10% off a 991.1 GTS on a lot? If I have to drop my price I will, I need to see if it's uniqueness sells it first.

What's the best deal anyone has received on a new Macan GTS? I've heard of 8%

I would think you could drive this Turbo for pretty close to what a new GTS would run.
