Placed an order today for a 2016 Macan S. Still have time to change build before freeze, but I hope this is final! Lots of debate into this:

Really went back and forth on PASM but I have a 997 that's not going anywhere so when I need to get out and drive the canyons it won't be in the Macan. Also went against Infotainment because we know where we're going 98% of the time we drive this car. For the other 2% we can use our iPhone. Also I didn't like the panoramic roof because it doesn't go 100% dark, that screen still lets light in. I'm usually trying to stay out of the sun! This is about at my max budget so can't add any other big ticket items, and I don't think anything here can be dropped. Toughts?

I like it. You have the creature comforts so it should be good. Curious, what color interior?

For another $955 (by choosing Premium Plus Package) you would get PDLS and Auto-Dimming Mirrors. The draw back is Pan roof is included in that which you don't like.

Black interior. I think the gold/black will look OK...Tan would be monotonous.

Only thing I would mention is that in person the design wheels looks amazing. PIA to maintain I'm sure.

At the final minute I added the Window Trim in Black. Now locked and looking like mid January delivery. Will be a long wait!

You might want to delay your order on the 2016 and order the 2017 (in Jan) as it has a few upgrades...

OK, I'm kind of pissed off now. I wish the dealer would have mentioned the 2017 was availible 2 days after I placed my order. Wouldn't they know this? I really want the 2017 and my build is actually $700 less expensive due to several option now being standard.

How do I get out of this 2016? They haven't charged my credit card yet for the deposit.

Your deposit should be refundable or better yet transferable to the 2017 model. If dealer says no- get your deposit back and go to another dealer.
