Default Parking distance sensors

Somehow one of my rear bumper sensors "pushed in" and is constantly registering as little/no distance (red) anytime I put the car in reverse.

I have triple checked to see if maybe I got bumped or something, but there is no mark whatsoever. It's like the little guy just fell over backwards in the bumper cavity.

Anyone ever experience this? Any way to fix without removing the bumper? I really don't want to go to the dealer over this piddly little ****e...

Thanks

Why don't you try with some adhesive tape or something? Duct tape, gorilla tape, etc.

That's not a bad idea. I wonder if they just sort of click into place?

Gorilla tape is so damn sticky. It just might do the trick. I mean if it just "fell in" then it should be easy to fish it out.

The gasket or the unit itself popped loose. Parts 17 & 18: http://www.jimellisporscheparts.com/...hString=bumper cover rear.
If it's in warranty, let the dealer fix it.

Happened to mine too. I reached up in the bumper and popped it back in place.
