Picking up my new Macan S in three weeks. Did not get infotainment package and need a holder for my iPhone. Recommendations?

Definitely would have been nice to have something other than the cup holder, considering it's designed for - cups. What do you do when you have cups in it?

I use the little section in front of the cup holders if I actually have drinks in the car. If you have the smoking option then it may not fit. Guess then you could put it inside the center console or leave it in your pocket.

I have a 6 Plus so it would not have fit in the hole even if I didn't have smoking package, which BTW I got to cover the hole in the first place. I usually put the phone in the door panel where you're supposed to place your water bottle or beer bottle or whatever you're into. And if there is a water bottle there already, I put it in the small compartment on the rear end of the door panel. I usually don't like to have to open the center console to access my phone unless it's in there to get charged.

I love the Kenu Airframe Portable Smartphone Car Mount I get from Amazon for less than $25. I tried several others, which fit into the CD slot, but I like this best, which fits nicely into the air vent without issue. Takes up little real estate and holds iPhone 6 securely. Good luck and enjoy!
