Default Paint To Sample list, now with Macan option

5/12/15 PTS list from my SA, was interested in the Macan PTS.

He said it would add 8 months to a build time (!)

Im digging the Brewster Green with 21" turbo wheels.

Enjoy

That is complete BS - if you are ordering a Macan already it should add no time to the build. Porsche is really irritating me lately.

8 months is quite exaggerated but it does add time... Never done a Macan but 2-3 month additional time is fairly normal.

I know Porsche likes to bundle up PTS orders because it disrupts the normal operation of the Paint Shop, but 8 months seems like quite a long time. Haven't we seen odd hues in other markets already? Wouldn't they have thrown a wrench into the normal operation of the Macan production line?

I think there is something beyond production logistics at play in this kind of delay. There's a waiting list for Macans in many markets -- perhaps this hold up is because PAG can sell units anyway?
