He even got the peer group completely wrong. GLA, Q3 are one class down, misses X4, Evoque is a beautiful design but real world it lacks a proper engine.... Doubt he has even driven one, looks like desktop analysis to fill pages...

One of the dumbest most misinformed reviews, total puff piece. I don't know how journalists get away with such baseless claims based on no research considering that's their only job. The things he loves about the car are pretty obligatory as to how well the car does all of them. But everything else and the fluff hyperbole is just without proper knowledge or merit. Leasing, for one, really? Horrible car to lease.
Sounds like he's just prejudiced against the idea of the car. With an AS/PASM version, and less fluff options for less weight, he'd find it even more dynamic. Porsche's other 4 door chassis are even heavier. The Macan is actually somewhat impressively "light" for what it is (S starts at 4,112 lbs, less than many premium sedans).
