A few weeks ago I designed and had my local exhaust shop install a custom exhaust and polished steel tips on my Macan Turbo. As you know, the stock exhaust is very quiet. In my case, the disappointment is even exaggerated by the Heat and Sound Insulating Glass option I ordered. The cabin is so quiet.

At that time I posted a primitive video and several of you asked for DriveBy and FlyBy videos.

Today I shot some with my iPhone 6 while my son drove the car. VERY PRIMITIVE, but these should give you all a better idea. Hopefully, in the near future we can do the exhaust justice with a car-mounted GoPro and some video taken from inside the cabin.

The mods:

• Removed OEM mufflers
• Replaced them with 14" MagnaFlow mufflers, noted for their deep baritone note
• Sourced dual stainless steel tips for both sides from speed shop catalog
• Joined/welded with custom-bent aluminized steel
  
• Total cost, including 90 minutes shop labor = $450

Can't tell that much difference from the sound my wife's S makes.

@TTCarrera thank you for sharing these clips. You're the only person I've found who has Magnaflows. Do you recall which model number you installed?

Sorry, no idea. My records are gone, so is the car. The exhaust guy chose ones that would fit. Not much else to it.
