I have the 20" "GT3" wheels and will be be putting snow tires on them for the wifey.
I do not like the look of the factory 18" or 19" wheels as winter alternatives... gona keep it real on the 20s...
Considering they make snows to fit the 20s i am sure it will be ok....
I have been running 20" snow tires on my G63 with good results.

Rays G25 et29 20x9.5
Nikal for the hub and threads.
25mm dra spacer in the rears.
Tikore two piece conical seat lugs.
Dunlop winter sport 3d in 275x45-20.
73.1 to 66.56 aluminum hubcentric rings.
Gota look good all year round eh.

I think it's a good idea to drop down in size for winter wheels, especially if you live in an area with lots of pot holes and other unpleasant road conditions in the winter. On my Cayenne, I used to drop from 20" summer wheels down to 18" winter wheels. On my SQ5 I drop from 21" summer wheels down to 19" winter wheels.

I went with 20" BBS-CHRs with Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2, still more than enough sidewall height and they plow the roads non stop around here during snowstorms. Pretty happy with how it turned out and relatively inexpensive solution.
Car needs a wash which is on the to do list after the GP today.

Great looking wheel. I'm running that on my 997 TT for the winter!
