Did a search both here and on Google, unfortunately the term "Type Code" brings up a lot of stuff that doesn't answer my question.
What is the Type Code for the Macan? Wiki says it's 95B but not sure how accurate that is.
For those that don't understand Type Code, the first Cayennes were 955, 2nd were 957, '95 ('94 really) thru '98 911's were 993 etc.

The model and type code on the build sheet for my turbo was "95BAF1". I'm guessing the AF1 indicates a turbo model intended for the U.S. market?

Kinda weird that it doesn't get a number at the end. Apparently there was a more typical 3 number figure floating around but turns out 95B is actually what's accurate.

Well, a 95B is a Macan. As in a Macan, or a Macan diesel, or a Macan S, or a Macan turbo, or a right-hand drive Macan (base, diesel, S, or turbo), etc. Just calling it a 95B leaves a lot of room for what can be very different vehicles even though their designs started from the same platform and they all look alike.
I bet someone has compiled a list of type codes for the different variations somewhere.
