The wifey gave me the keys today so I did a round trip from Vancouver to Whistler on the Sea 2 Sky highway. Lot of twists and turns with non stop elevation changes.
It was very wet with a lot of rain but typical for this time of year.

The Macan made the trip very comfortable. Rain and wet roads are no problem for the Macan. Very confidence inspiring.
Body roll was non existant in the tight and twistys.

The real winner was the PDK.
Sport mode on, it would make for really nice exhaust notes during upshifts and downshifts.

If you drive like a teenager, you will appreicate the Macan. Forget about a Cayenne unless you need the extra space.
The PDK makes this vehicle.

If I were to have this as my sole driver, I would upgrade to the higher HP Turbo model hands down.

The Macan is like having a hot rodded, wide body version of a Audi SQ5.
If you are a driver you will appreciate the difference.

It has met and or exceeded my expectations thus far.

We are looking forward to getting our Macan in the spring.

Just completed 2 road trips in our 2012 Cayenne, one of which was Edmonton to Vancouver.

It will be interesting to see how much more of a driver's vehicle the Macan is!

I did the Sea to Sky a couple times in my 993, coming from CA. On way to Jasper on road trip with Daughter. A bit far now from NC, but you never know.

Macan Turbo would be perfect for me and wife to go to FL 600 miles each way every 2-3 months with 2 little Dachshunds.

I am working on wife, because she thinks it's too much to spend for an SUV. I keep telling her it's another Porsche. Not a good approach, I guess.

That, and she thinks I still drive like a teenager at times.

Congrats, we got the call Saturday that our Macan S is being put on the boat in Germany today.

Ordered it in January. Will be at the Port of Houston April 10, the dealer said.

Great post and photos. Our White S is going to be built in about a week. I was able to get one of the last 2015s.
