Does pulling both PDK paddles put the Macan in netural?
To those who already have their Macan or have taken proper test drives... Does pulling both PDK paddles put the car in neutral like the 991?

Drifting
I don't think so, but am not sure. While test driving one last weekend, I manually downshifted, and didn't know how to get out of manual mode (didn't know it would revert automatically after about 8 seconds). I tried pulling both paddles simultaneously, but didn't notice anything happening.

it does not, tried several times today in each mode.. auto, manual, sport and sport plus..
i did not check with "auto off/on" in on position (i think it does coasting in this mode, which might also allow neutral? )

Thanks for checking My C2 has the buttons instead of paddles and I have not been able to "force" it into the netural mode. It does do it automatically sometimes going downhill if i have have auto on/off in on like position. If you do get around sometime to checking it with the auto on /off on.. let me know. I was kinda hoping this would work in the macan.. but oh well. thanks again, Riley.

Ferrari F1 transmissions go into neutral when you pull both side. Great for neutral throttle blips or coasting.

I thought this was only a feature of the PDK-S in the 991 GT3?

I'll try it when I get home in the Macan. I thought my 991 c2s didn't go into neutral when I first tried, but you have to pull both paddles and quickly release both, just a quick flip of both together. I wasn't doing it right at first.

Definitely can do in regular 991 c2s

interesting; I guess thinking about it I formed this opinion from the AP interview for the 991 GT3 when he referred to it as "doughnut mode" ... from that I assumed that this was a unique feature for GT3 PDK-S ...
