A Michelin Tire representative gave a talk at the Porscheplatz at the Laguna Seca races on Sunday. He stated that Michelin was the exclusive supplier for the OEM tires on the Macan.
I think this is good news, but it will be interesting to see if it holds true.

BTW I've made a lot of inquiries regarding offset offerings and was left feeling certain I'd need a designated 18" mud and snow tire and wheel set. That's why getting the 20s makes so much sense now. Pay the small upcharge for the 20s get the great stance and the improved wheel well fill esthetics and get the less expensive 18s later as the designated.

A good premise, but it is going to be hard to find the Macan 18" at a good price later on. Most people will get the 19" or higher (so less chance of finding takeoffs). And suncoast will probably not have a bundle at the GREAT price, although I am sure they can order a set for you or your local dealer can. Expect not to pay less whether you get the 18" with the car and buy a 20" set later or vice versa.

go to wheels and accessories the 18s are way cheaper than the Spyders. Pay the upcharge buy the 18s later.
Anyway I'm likely to get a mud and snow/winter wheel set from tire rack as I did for my wife. I've read they're just waiting on specs.

Not sure about all, but I know the local dealer I visited confirmed and I can't remember the exact details now but someone told me that their dealer floats a special on winter tire wheel sets every year so he was going to wait for that.
