just for curiosity, what is your delivery date , my dealer told me that my car will arrive May 21st . Anyone here got april dates ?

 

nope. my order locks march 29, expected delivery June 27

 

Ordered mine last week and was told may delivery. I've been seeing reports that the macan has sold out its 2014 allocation. I'm worried that would delay my baby's arrival.

 

No April here, been told early June.

 

Anybody get any type of discount off list?

 

NO, they are even trying to charge some BS fees.

 

I am patient. I can wait.

 

got my usual, $1500 over invoice. (between my friends we have 12 ordered, so the discount makes sense)


also got a call from PCNA saying that i will be one of the first macan's in the states... was an interesting call they said they were monitoring the forums back when it was the "pajun" and the "cajun"... and checking this and that back then and noticed my addiction to the new addition.

i'm hoping april.. i was told late april, early may...

i still find it really cool how porsche and the powers that be do actively monitor the forum, probably a quick and easy way to see what needs to be changed/improved.

 

I've been told May 17 as the absolute earliest delivery in the US. I'm doing Euro Del, and the dealers seem to be completely clueless as to availability date for ED.

 

Porsche is certainly doing a number of things right.

Monitoring the social media and forums such as Rennlist give them indications of trends.
Allows them to appear proactive in a world of reactive customer service.

 

Ordered a turbo here in the UK last year. Popping into dealer tomorrow to finalise spec which has to be done by March 1st . All I know is May build for June delivery. Uk dealers seem to be pretty vague compared to you US guys that know your build lock dates and delivery dates! May pop over and pick up from the factory.

 

April build with May something delivery. AFAIK I have my dealer's first Macan order. The dealer will receive some demo cars first and the first customer cars shortly afterward.

 

My dealer getting launch cars (demos) in april. I have first dibs on driving!
