looks amazing ... sadly I suspect its probably photoshop and not a *real* Macan... I'll make do with the Sapphire Blue!

That Turbo S coupe will look STUNNING! :jumping:

all production in Germany is arranged in weeks. in official pdf catalogue it is written that colours appears 11/2014 at the earliest and that means week 11 not month.
maybe you have another information? what is the source?

Directly from Porsche that we would not have those options until October in the USA....hopefully that is incorrect as I have a lot of customers wanting the Saddle interior and also the Impulse Red and Sapphire Blue options....

This is what Porsche writes in their German Pricelist:

Available from 10/2014

- Exteriorcolors: Sapphire Blue metallic, Impulse Red metallic
- Interiors: Two-tone: Black-Saddle, Saddle-Luxor Beige, Agate Grey-Pebble Grey
- Interiors: Single color: Saddle full leather interior

Available from 04/2014

- Sideblades painted
- Interior package Carbon
- Memory package
- Exterior colors: Mahogony metallic, Palladium metallic, Dark blue metallic, Aurum metallic
- Interiors: Two-tone: Black-Garnet red (same as Carrera red)
- Interiors: Single color: Espresso, Black, Luxor Beige

I asked at my dealership a month ago about this and they said that it was week 4 and week 10, since Porsche always speaks in weeks (production weeks) and this is correct. Look at the configurator sometimes and you'll often see for example "available from 32/2013" behind an option. There are not more than 12 months in a year as far as I know, so it clearly means week 32 in that case.
However, I don't know anything 100% for sure. I decided to order an A6 Avant instead of a Macan, so I haven't had any information about the car since then. (Allthough I still try to keep updated as much as possible )

Regarding the other options, like PDCC, PSE, etc... Nothing about these options yet. I highly doubt there will be PDCC at all. Ceramic brakes may become available when (if) Turbo S arrives and the PSE...? I have no idea. From the video's I've seen, the Macan already sounds pretty good, so maybe it doesn't need a Sports exhaust. In the end it's an SUV, not a sportscar. (Although Porsche claimes different things, but that is marketing BS)

That's indeed bad news for the people that want to order a Macan. Especially because they showed the car in Sapphire blue on its introduction, but one can only order it almost a year later! It seems to be a popular color for future Macan owners. Porsche could lose some customers....
I wonder why they wait so long with the availabillity of those colors and options....

For some reason I get the idea that Porsche is pushing the limits of its production capacity. Too many models and versions of models in a too short period of time IMO....

yes, the same information - they don't have capacity to produce that much cars in that colour now.
Not a year - first cars in May - sapphire in november - about 5 months wait. I think it worth it!

unfortunately I have another answer from a person in official porsche importer:
this colour can be ordered in march 2014 but first cars will go in production in october 2014. So the right answer is : can be configured in 10 week 2014, go in production in 10 month 2014 (october) that is 100 %. In Russia, and USA. Dont know about Australia and Europe. But think it is the same.
