Impulse Red and Sapphire Blue
I am taking the new Macan module and these are the two colors not showing up on the configurator as yet. The Sapphire Blue is a standard upgrade color and the Impulse Red Metallic is the same price as the Aurum Metallic paint. I assume these will both be available shortly on the main web site to specify.

The color palette Porsche offers for the USA is disappointing. The Macan desperately needs a deep dark green or a luscious deep burgundy included on the palette.
Let's review
-- standard black: a timeless classic, but not for everyone. more specifically, black is gorgeous when wet but unlivable if you reside in a hot desert or if you don't wash your car.
-- standard white: BOOOORING. Makes all vans and SUVs look like Frigidaires. Also highlights the relatively unsavory black plastic fascia elements
-- jet black metallic: see standard black
-- rhodium silver metallic, agate grey metallic, palladium metallic: see standard white
-- mohagany metallic -- might be fine in the rest of the world, but in the USA it will be referred to as either Zune Brown or Turd.
-- dark blue metallic: meh. not a very compelling shade of blue.
What was Porsche thinking???

From what I've heard, Color to Sample will become available in 2015. Not sure if that is true though...
I agree on the dark green and especially on the dark red metallic (Arena red would be a perfect color for the Macan). These colors should be available for all Porsches (even if I personally don't like any green colors really...). To me, all SUVs look best in less flashy colors. I prefer black, grey, silver or white, since I would use it as my business car.
However, choice of color is very personal, but Porsche in general hasn't got a very large color palette when it comes to standard colors.
