Sport Chrono option
My ECU has PVD limitations and a SFD2 lock on it. My car does not have a dash clock/compass. Can you still add sport chrono, how?
If in such case sport chrono isnt possible (dealerships says not possible since you cannot code it), can you add just the (time) clock on the dash?

it will need activation, not just coding with pvd unlock, coding will not give you sport Chrono
The activation code needs to be generated and inserted and then unlock pvd for coding
you done need to have Chrono clock for sport Chrono features
after retrofit
you get :
1. Sport plus
2. launch control
3. 20sec sport response
3. all other control module work with sport plus mode and have significant improvement on pdk
Dealer will not give you option for any retrofit for may model. We have done many retrofit for cayenne, 992 and macan, your car 100% can be activated
contact our support for detailed instructions, and we have to loan you tool as well

- The Macans ECU has never been locked in the same way and Sport Chrono retrofit has long been officially supported by Porsche for that platform, so I understand why it is relatively straightforward there.
- On the 2024 onwards Cayennes ECU side, APR, Cobb, M-Engineering, and others have all explored unlock paths. To date, the only confirmed success has been M-Engineering via a bench unlock that requires physically shipping the ECU, which is not something I am interested in doing. My ECU has the H80 code and APR reviewed it and confirmed so far thy havent been able to develop an unlock.
- My primary concern is warranty exposure. Any solution must be fully safe for the powertrain warranty and must not jeopardize coverage on electrical modules, including PCM. Sport Plus will be introducing a new TCU tune so without its reversibility is a non-starter for me.
- I am only open to a solution that is fully reversible before a dealer visit and does not permanently alter ECU, TCU, or vehicle configuration data. I want to fully reverse it myself.
- If there is a truly plug-and-play approach that can be installed and removed without leaving traces in the vehicle systems, I would be interested in understanding that in more detail.
- This may be more _simpler_ : Separately, if I only want to retrofit the dash clock without enabling Sport Plus, Launch Control, or Sport Response, is that something you can support on its own?

2. other tuning is just EUC remapping and other control units in car will not cope with that like Oem sport plus mode , in sport plus mode your pdk control module , and other control module will work accordingly under that mode
3. There is absolutely no warranty concern at all , as the activation code is injected in gateway firmware that deal cant even access and tell the difference at all ,and other coding is just configuration settings as you know, and if you have another steering wheel with Chrono button you can just swap it any time you like in 5mins if dealer compliant about it.
4. there will be no trace that can be seen on dealers tool for this activation
5. what is point to get just clock ? Just for looking ? Not very necessary, it has lap counts stuff integrated with sport Chrono features and only make sense to have if you have sport Chrono package , If just for looking you can just buy aftermarket one
I guess there are a lot of things you still concern , we can forward you the customer who did this to you to prove that will be no affect for warranty
and for more detailed questions , I suggest to contact our support line , so can explain you with all technical aspects

The analog clock will be for the looks - analog looks cool to me.
Just buying a clock and dash trim replacement will not work. It will need to be integrated with the PCM so the time stays synchronized with the other time displays, the brightness is controlled synchronized. Since my car did not come with dash clock, the wiring does not exist
you can add clock and code to integrated with pcm , and count the lap time
We have the retrofit kits for it as well
But suggest to add real sport Chrono features:
1. Sport plus
2. launch control
3. 20 seconds sport response
