New to Rennlist, but just purchased my fourth Porsche. Previously owned a 997 Turbo, a 996 Turbo, and a Cayenne S. Most recent purchase is a 95B.1 Macan S. I will be taking it to Hendrick Porsche, here in Charlotte for a thorough inspection. Anything I should be on the lookout for? 2015 Macan S, 79k miles. TIA!
Have it checked for oil leaks and if the transfer case was replaced under warranty. If the transfer case has not been replaced find out when its fluid was last changed and if it was more than 40k miles ago have them change it.
Potential Macan newbie here, too. I’m in the market for a Macan and currently looking at a 2015 Turbo with very low mileage for the year (36k). The owner recently had the mechatronic unit overhauled with a refurb unit, and would be interested to hear any feedback or advice from experienced owners about this.
The current owner was upfront about it. Other than that, the car has a clean CarFax. The current owner bought in 2021 and put 10k+ on it, and it doesn’t give the impression of having been abused, so I’m thinking the issue might be connected to some original fault in earlier models.
