The gloss black trim on one of my C-pillars has a hairline fracture in it and I've got a new one from my dealer. I've seen a video on replacing the trim for the B-pillar, but nothing on the C-pillar. Has anyone done this, and is it basically the same as the B, removing the weatherseal to get to the screws that hold it on?

I have not replaced the C-pillar door trim on my vehicle, but here is a thorough write-up located on another Macan forum:

According the link, C-pillar trim replacement involves removing the door card and is much more complex than the B-pillar trim. I hope this helps!

 

I think there is also a write up (maybe Santirx?) where rear speakers upgrade involved removing the pillar. Reading that DIY is exactly why I gave up on changing those speakers.

 

Thanks for the link! I was okay pulling off the door card, but as soon as I got to the part about disconnecting the window regulator and moving the window I realized it was beyond my comfort level, so I'll have a pro do it.
