PCCB Macan?
Far as i'm aware, Macans were made for some time with PCCB options for GTS and Turbo models. I'm a big fan of carbon ceramics and find our SQ5 brakes to be its weakest link despite being most like a Macan in terms of agility. I'm hoping to find an upgrade form the '22 SQ5 to an earlier Macan Turbo seeing as the SQ5 punches a bit above the GTS' power-wise already but dont really know the front-engine side of the house these days in terms of which years/models/options to look for upon which to set up a properly sporty utility vehicle which can still handle mild off-road conditions and deep snow.
Thanks for any insight ahead of time

The PCCBs were a rare option, as most people weren't willing to pay extra, and the price to replace the rotors is astronomical. The 2020MY was the last year you can get PCCBs. If I were you, I'd just get a new or CPO 95B.3 GTS with the PSCBs, which have comparable braking performance to the PCCBs, are a hell of a lot cheaper to replace and they leave behind zero brake dust. Also, the 2020-2021 GTS has the same tune as my 2023 S. It is a lot quicker than an SQ5. The 375 horsepower version of the 2.9 V6 has a sub four second 0-60 time, about a second quicker than an SQ5.

Far as motors go - i'm fortunate to have access to a world-class facility which can get me all the power i ever want out of anything with 6 or more cylinders and for a family car they can easily do so without major mechanical changes. That sort of thing requires a solid base platform though (reason the various GTR engines are so renowned is their ability to withstand far more energy than they were sold to market producing), and i figure a 3.6L is probably the sensible way to go there due to the added displacement given that PDKs can apparently survive north of 1000lbft with nothing more than some external bracing (at least the Turbo 911 ones can). That leaves chassis (AFAIK common to all of them), brakes, and suspension to "get right" or "as right as possible" in such a purchase and the PCCBs being a rarity seems to make them the pviot-point (slapping carbons into a car not made for them is an experience not for the feint of heart - i've locked-up that GTR). That said, if the 2.9 motor (isn't that the audi one?) is a better option for that sort of thing, i'm all ears as to why that would be the better option.
When I was ordering, sales guy told me I could get PCCB, but it might delay March 2021 delivery. And that the standard PSCB were very near as good with no dust.
Wish I had risked the delay, but I doubt it makes much difference on that heavy a car.
