Default "MY" 2025 Macan

I just received an update on the 2025 S that I "ordered"
It was produced in 9/6 and is now in the German port
I will arrive in 50 days
The problem is that although I specced and priced the car I DID NOT ORDER it (I did NOT sign an ORDER)
This would be our 3rd Macan 2019, my son has that one, 2022 we are driving and loving it, and now the 2025 ??
Unfortunately the 2025 will lease for just over $300 a month more than the 2022..with only slightly more equipment.
BUT our 2022 at 19,000 miles is perfect (as was and still is the 2019 still)
So I am not going to take it....
I guess they just wanted to "fill" the allocation slot and just ordered it

Unless there is a "deal" to be made, We'll just keep the 2022 S (has not had a single "problem", neither did the 2019 previous one)

Take it and demand a sizable discount.

Why would they discount it when they can sell it to someone else at MSRP?
Where has the OP been wronged to demand anything? 🤣

My feeling is that if I can't get a better rate, I will keep the 2022...the 2025 is basically the same car, same color just a few added options....the 2022 has been a zero defect vehicle
One year left of warranty on the 2022, then I can see what the market has...(my son is a bit disappointed.he won't be getting the 2022...he loves the 2019....also zero defect)

I'm with you there. I just didn't understand Malibu515's comment asking for a "sizable discount".
Dealer took a spec (that you originally made); had it built; sounds like they gave you the first right of refusal; and now will sell it at market rate.
Some states give you a tax benefit if you trade in a car, but that's not my area of expertise and don't know your finances.
Sounds like a good spec and your son should get the '22 if he's been doing his chores!
