Default 2023 Macan T, no comfort entry???

I just picked up a used 2023 Macan T with drivers memory package and standard T interior (8 way seats), but the comfort entry setting is missing. I know that 14 way and 18 way macan's are supposed to have it based on this thread (https://www.macanforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=12622). I assumed it was part of the memory package and I would have it as well. Before I bother my local dealer to look into a software fix, does anyone know if my car should indeed have this feature? Is this something I could figure out by calling Porsche North America?

Correct in that your car does not have it enabled because you do not have an electric steering column. You can ask the dealer to enable comfort entry still though as I did the same with my 23

my 2024 T does not have it. 2024 T came with memory seat functions but driver seat does not move when I open the door. I did not know dealer/coder can enable it.

Electric steering column is not needed to have comfort entry. My 24' GTS has comfort entry BUT because of the parts shortages, my car did not come with the powered steering column. So only the seat moves all the way back. Kind of sucks as that was a BIG thing for me but I wasn't aware of this until after my build was in the que.

Do all of you have 8 way seats? Are there any special instructions you gave the dealer to enable it?

Just checked mine and I dont have it on my 8 way sport seat (memory seat is standard in 2024 T and dont have electric steering column as it requires to remove T interior )

I learned this the hard way on my new GTS.

I went with the 8 ways as well and found out after delivery that they doesn't have comfort entry.

The only obscure reference I could find on the configurator regarding this detail is that the 8 way seats are described as having "memory", and the 14 and 18 way seats are described as having "comfort memory".

It's a pretty easy to miss detail when ordering. Dating myself here, but I miss the days of full brochures when things like this were usually spelled out....

This is why you should get the optional 14 or 18 way seats, always.

but to get the T specific interior (pin striped sport tec with deviated stitch), no cost, 8-way sport seat is only option.

Same for me. 2022 GTS with 18 way seats and memory, but my steering column is completely manual adjustment. Was told the same by dealer in that an electronic adjustable steering column would have normally been provided but due to parts shortages only manual was provided.
