You want to use 99.9% electronics grade to ensure no additional moisture remains after the alcohol flashes off. They do have an IPA at that level for the same purpose, I simply can't remember if I used the methanol or IPA, I had both in my Amazon history and I may have used the methanol for water injection instead lol.

I am in 100% agreement with the above comments.

Experimenting on a modern Porsche headlight could have very expensive consequences.

Sounds like I know exactly what to do - suck it up and leave the lights alone. Being PLDS+, I dread to think how expensive they are to replace should I screw it up!
