Anyone running the Falken Azenis FK460 tires?

Hey everyone! Hope you guys had a great holiday season! The OEM Michelin Latitude all-seasons on my '23 S are close to the wear bars after 8k miles. I wore these out as quickly as I could because I was not impressed with the performance of them. They are the same tires that my sister has on her Ford Escape. I was looking at the Falken Azenis FK460 high performance all-seasons as a replacement. Has anyone run these tires on their Macan? If so, did you like them? I usually stay away from cheaper tires, but I put a set of the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on my Land Rover Defender earlier this year and I was very impressed by how good they are. Of course, you can't compare an all-terrain with a high performance all-season, but I thought I'd mention it. I'd prefer a performance all-season as I do occasionally go on spirited drives, and I take the Macan to autocross events once or twice a year. It doesn't snow much in Cincinnati anymore, and when it does, I usually drive the Defender. Any help is much appreciated, TIA!

Just had a set of these (Azenis) installed on the Macan last week! $1100 installed. So far, so good! Haven't even come close to finding their limits.

Now that doesn't mean you aren't happy with them and want to go a different direction. We all know there are several things Porsche engineers got wrong on the Macan (and many things right).

There may actually be other options for different tires from Michelin that are N-spec for Porsche, not sure. TireRack generally will list the N-spec options on their website. I agree the Pilot Sport 4 is an excellent choice in N1 spec.

If you're running 21-inch wheels, I'd highly recommend Michelin's All Season 4 tires, they're rated "NEO" by Porsche. I've got 9k miles on them with no noticeable wear. And yes, I have a spirited driving style.

Thanks for the info as always, Nick! The tires aren't bad, they just not up to par for my needs. Ideally, I'd run a set of summer tires and winter tires, but I don't want to go through the hassle of storing them and changing them out every year.

The Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus is a fantastic tire. The rears lasted 35k (probably longer if I didn't have an alignment issue) and I have gotten 45k on the fronts and they are still going.

Just got a nail in my Pirelli Scorpion Zero A/S Plus and I can't wait to get them off my 2016 Macan S as I find them downright dangerous for low-temp wet driving (compare my opinion to the post before me to see why tire threads are worthless lol).
Considering going the budget route on the FALKEN AZENIS FK460 A/S ($1000) instead of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S ($1600) as it doesn't snow here although very rainy mid 30s winter temps preclude a year round summer.
Hoping others have went the Falken route and can report back.

Alright I got the Falkens mounted and compared to the half-worn Pirelli Scorpion Zero A/S Plus that were on the car, The FK460 A/S feel like they have a noticeably stiffer sidewall, are ever-so slightly "heavier", have less ride comfort, and are also slightly louder. I haven't pushed them yet as they aren't scrubbed in, but I doubt I will experience much extra benefit from the added stiffness in the dry versus the Pirellis as I'm never going to take the Macan to 10/10 (or realistically even a true 8/10).
I won't know if I made a good purchase until October/November when we have low-temperature rain, but as of right now, I have an extra $5-600 in my pocket compared to the Conti DWS06+ or the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S and I'm happy with that decision.
