Brake light switch is throwing a code. Replacing it once you are in there takes 2 minutes but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get to it.
I can see five screws that need to come off, 2 under the dash, 2 under the steering column and 1 by the fuses. I removed them all but there still seems to be something holding the lower dash in tight. I am afraid to break something if I pull too hard.
I have the service manual for a 2016 but the lower dash removal is clearly different on my 2019.
Instructions for replacing the headlight or ignition switch will probably answer my question because those require the same lower dash removal. Are there any DIYs out there? I Googled for an hour and found nothing.
Anyone have any advice?

See post #8 thru #17 for info as to how to remove the lower dash trim. Be careful with the knee airbag unit.

They are different. The way the vents and the molding trim on either side of the steering wheel are different. There are also screws in different places. And when I remove the trim and the vent from either side of the steering wheel there are no screws there which make me believe there are other hidden ones along the top of the lower dash hidden somewhere.
