Default 2019 Macan Base Suspension Level Switch

So I was about to do the front pads and rotors in my new, to me, Macan BASE, and I see out of the corner of my eye this green lever looking thing, and it appears broken and just moving freely. After a little research it seems like it's the suspension level sensor/ height sensor. Weird that I would have no fault alerting me of this. It's completely missing the arm that connects to the nipple on the lower control arm. Looked on the driver side and there isn't one at all.

Is this normal for no fault if the green lever piece is broken, and Ive noticed in parts catalogs they make them for the drivers and passengers side. The broken one is on the drivers side, and nothing on the passenger side, is this normal? What does it do? As I dont have PASM...

Not sure about the other questions but mine also only has the sensor on the driver's side and nothing on the passenger side.

That’s reassuring. Thanks for your input.

It is only for the self-leveling headlights.
You probably have an error code set in the Headlight Level Control System.

Hmm Ill hook my big scanner up to it today and see, no something that would just come up on the dash ? Interesting its only on one side?

Also, does anyone have a part number for this? Weird that FCP Euro calls it "Suspension Level Switch" if it has to do with the headlights

Yes, just one in the front, and one in the back, to determine front-to-back levelness, to adjust the headlight up-and-down aiming to compensate for vehicle loading.
