Your point is well-taken. The Icarsoft apparently is not truly bi-directional, but for my needs it will suffice. Coming from an Audi Q5 and using an OBDEleven dongle, I am continuously surprised at the limitations of coding options available for my 2020 Macan base. Not that I radically changed that many items on the Q5, but "long-form coding" was an option, giving you the ability to, say, allow navigation input while the car was in motion, or enabling day-time rear running lights, changing the temperature of the heated steering wheel, lots of stuff like that. Still definitely not a deal-breaker.
