2025 Macan.. What will it be?
What is the latest word on the 25 Macans
I will be deciding what to do with our (22 Carmine S now 13,000 miles) when the info is available to order a 25, but only if it's an ICE
I no ICE I will buy out the 22...otherwise, trade it or sell it?
Do the dealers usually pay more than the lease buy out?

Porsche has stated they will build the ICE Macan alongside the new EV model for at least a year or two. Considering 2024s are being delivered now and the EV has yet to be announced I'd say there is a 95%+ chance that the current ICE models will continue as a 2025. Probably closer to 100% odds since the Macan is their best seller and the current model is highly profitable I'm sure.
In terms of timing, you're probably looking at a late spring/early summer allocation next year to secure a 2025 model. I would expect the price to increase again as well because Porsche.

The only tweaks are likely another price increase and perhaps some options being included as standard. Otherwise development on the current Macan platform is done so don't expect anything new.

I don't expect any major updates, but one can hope for new colors, wheels, and perhaps a platinum edition.

I've been wondering the same thing. Last hurrah for the ICE Macan maybe?
Since the new Cayenne has been updated with a new interior based on the overall design language of the 911, it would be great if there's another refresh for the Macan while an ICE version is still available. Not only a TGT variant, but with that nice interior, a bigger screen with full-screen carplay, HUD, etc. (some have said there's no room for the HUD in the Macan, but the SQ5 has one and the Macan is only slightly smaller).
Probably all wishful thinking, but still...

Porsche has already stated the electric and ICE Macan will be sold side by side for a bit. My guess is through 2028 but that's just a guess. Porsche would be dumb to delete their top seller and go all electric, as they don't fit many people's lifestyle yet w/ current infrastructure. But maybe they are going all-in and don't care.

Macan will move to SSP BEV platform eventually. SSP is approx 2027 time frame and covers many VAG models from VW to Lambo.

Scalable Systems Platform (SSP) is the VW designation for the next generation battery electric vehicle (BEV) platform. Today Macan is on the Medium Langbau (MLB) platform, Cayenne is on the MLB evo platform. The SSP platform is an electric vehicle architecture that supports a range of vehicle types and sizes. Google for more.
Electric vehicle architectures are rearranging the furniture with emphasis on battery, eAxles (front and rear drive units) and utilizing space freed up or consumed by the new electric propulsion components. No more gasoline tank, evap system (carbon canister), exhaust pipes or mufflers, engine, transmission, etc.
Battery integrity during a collision is a big deal so the battery is taking front and center in the structural design of electric-only platforms. Plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) need to compromise battery position and loss of luggage space over the rear axle, because the gasoline fuel tank and exhust systems are still in the car. PHEVs in many ways are the worst of all worlds, but are a stepping stone from pure combustion vehicles to pure BEVs.

It appears that Porsche's US dealers are pushing back hard against Porsches move to an all electric Macan in the '25/'26 model years. One of the main reasons is the lack of charging infrastructure. This could lead to a significant sales decline for Porsche's best-selling model which currently represents about one third of Porsche's US sales. No word on Porsche's response to the dealers' concerns.
