I would just get an OEM one from a junkyard or ebay. Search sport chrono clock retrofit Macan there are lots of threads over on the Macanforum, and some on Rennlist too.

I wonder if all these clock assemblies aren't made in one factory in China...So many parts are,
Probably. But the ones on Amazon are probably the rejects from quality control that they resell under a different name.
Perhaps
But buying from from Ebay, better make sure that you get all the wiring and adapters,,and not damaged I've been that route with BMW parts
Buying from AMAZON you can return it if it doesn't work....Junk yard ???

DC Automotive in North Carolina is my favorite Porsche junkyard.
My '18 GTS doesn't have Sports Chrono so it didn't come with the stopwatch, just a regular plain analog clock. In other words I didn't have the little digital screen showing the time and the the large 'seconds' hand as in the example shown in the link, which I preferred. I found an original OEM on eBay and installed it myself. No wiring changes or adapter, it was plug and play with the original wiring, and everything worked. The point is cars are usually wired the same way (for accessories like this anyway - as it's too expensive to make and install separate wiring setups by car/options), and depending on the options your car came with, the connections are therefore either used or not, but they are there.
Not to digress but I had the same thing with my 993: I wanted to add a 3rd brake light (mine is ROW and didn't come with one). I found a used one, removed my blank spoiler where the light is usually integrated, to find the wires just sitting there unused. Plugged them into the 'new to my car' brake light, and everything worked perfectly.
Hello,
I ordered one from China which came with the cover.
The clock is good quality and I'm happy with it.
The cover was not exactly the same Brown as my dashboard, so I had to order a cover from Porsche.
Installation is not easy because you have to pull very very hard the A/C vents. (pick tool is required).
The backlight of the clock is always ON in the night. I am looking now to add the analogue clock in PIWIS to get the clock light activation/deactivation in the instrument cluster menu.
Does anyone know if the clock trim piece is the same for sport chrono clocks vs the regular analog style clocks and if there is pre-wiring for a sport chrono clock? Thanks.
