I have conflicting information about the Gas Tank size of the 2023 Macan S. In one of the spec sheets for my car it is saying 19.8 gallon and in the tracker it is saying 17.2 gallon. Which one is correct? I know in the past you could choose 2 different tank sizes but I don't know how it was for 23. For 24 I think you can't choose anymore and I assume they just switched to the bigger gas tank. I did not configure my car, just jumped on an incoming car so don't know if the 23 configuration would let you choose a bigger tank or not. Any insights would be highly appreciated.

I identified the same conflict when I ordered my 2022 GTS. Fortunately, it came with the 19.8 gallon tank.
I do not believe you ever had a choice of gas tank capacity with the Macan.

Thank you for the clarification ! I thought it was like with 718s and I was watching German reviews stating that you can pay for a bigger tank. I guess it was just for the European model. I checked again the current and incoming car at porsche car finder and all the 23 S model seem to have extended full capacity. I know mine had it too in the spec sheet of the car finder but it is just confusing that the spec sheet on the car tracker still shows the smaller tank. For the 24 model it seem to be clear though. Thanks again!

Might the tank be the same and you are seeing some documents using the US gallon and others the larger Imperial gallon? Looks about the right ratio to me.

My '22 GTS has the larger tank. This was not an option.

This was an issue that started in 2022 with Porsche updating specs for the 95B.3. Turns out it was a typo on Porsche's part. Looks like they never fixed it. The tank is 19.8 gal.

There were several threads on this topic back in late 2021/early 2022.

I just put in 18.7 gallons today so definitely 19.8 gallons total

I cannot imagine that the MACAN'S would have 2 different size gas tanks available For what possible reason ? Its not like there is a HUGE difference ???

While apparently now standard in the US, in many other countries you have to pay for the 75L larger gas tank. I tried to include the screenshot from the German site but it didn't work. Over there you have to pay 119 Euros for the bigger gas tank. BTW, most of the Porsches have/had the option for a bigger gas tank. Reason I think/guess weight management and cost.
