Another satisfied customer
Took approx 45 mins and I’m absolutely clueless technology wise. He was very easy to work with and it looks great. 2024 Macan GTS. Have no idea why Porsche doesn’t make this standard btw… Highly recommended.

Hi guys.
considering this for my 2021 911, Turbo S.
so right now Apple Carplay occupies the left two 2/3 of my screen. On the right 1/3 are some Porsche tiles. Radio and 3 others.
If I go with this upgrade then I will lose those other tiles to the right of Apple Carplay. Thus if I want to change a radio station, I’m going to have to go back out to the home screen change the station and then go back into Apple Carplay. Is this correct

even with the side bar , you will still need to click on the radio button on the side bar to get out of CarPlay
If you have whole screen HD one , you don’t have the side bar anymore , you can click on Porsche icon to go back, it doesn’t create and difficulty to operate
it basically not much different to operate to be honest
if just changing radio station you can also use steering wheel button to do that

no , I mean go back to normal Porsche PCM menu , if it as in radio before , once you click on the Porsche icon, it will go back to radio menu straight way, depending on you were in last time

I have a few questions for those who have had the full HD resolution and full screen Car Play program upgrades by Innovative Soft. I’m considering one of these options for my ‘22 Macan S and would appreciate some feedback. I know the main operability differences between the two product offerings, so that’s not an issue. I’m interested in the quality of resolution and appropriateness of image sizing for each. When I see the online images of the regular “full screen” version, it looks more size appropriate for the vehicle. However, I’m not sure based on actual vs. image representation. From what I’ve read, the upgraded full HD resolution version is similar to what’s installed in some of the newer Porsche vehicles. 3 questions: Does the full HD resolution version provide better clarity and quality of the screen images? Secondly, does the full HD res screen fit well and appropriately match other vehicle graphic sizes? Lastly, does the full screen lower resolution version have lesser clarity/quality of images than what’s provided with the existing OEM graphics?

And.. if you dont mind, can you please post one more picture of google map keyboard? My main complain is the keyboard is too small to use so I'm hoping to have wider keyboard.

nothing will be stretched , it will be 1920x720 with proper Dpi setting , if you look at PCM6 on 2023 cayenne , you will see how it supposed to looks like
I like to do same as you did. But can you pleas let me know if it's just stretching the icon and text to be wider to full width or icons and texts are exacts same and just more spacing between icons?

I just did whole screen CarPlay update with Raymond. Need to buy very specific USB-A to Ethernet adapter which I'll never use but other than that, it was very smooth update.
Took around 40 mins. I originally wanted full screen with top and left bar but Raymond explained why whole screen is better. Now it's much larger crisp icons with pretty big keyboards on Google/Apple Maps (tiny keyboard on maps were my main issue).
Anyway these are what you need:
1. Wifi
2. Laptop (PC) with ethernet port (or ethernet adapter)
3. Ethernet cable
4. USB-A to Ethernet adapter (very specific that you need to buy it from Amazon)
5. Flash Drive (FAT32 format)
6. For cars with USB-C ports, USB-C to USB-A adapter is required to use with specific ethernet adapter

I just had the full screen upgrade done to my 2022 Macan GTS and am extremely pleased with the result. Raymond did a good job of explaining what was needed and was exactly on time for our appointment. The process took about 30 minutes. Having CarPlay utilize the full screen is a massive improvement. I am so happy to have discovered this to fix really what was my only complaint about the vehicle. I definitely recommend!
Here are things that I learned about the process that might be helpful for you.
1. This is best done with a laptop running Windows with Intel silicone. I am a Apple user and we did this on my Mac but it took a couple of additional steps to get the right supplies.
2. Pay careful attention to the supplies needed (all inexpensive and available on Amazon, some you might have laying around).
3. We communicated on WhatsApp and that worked well, if you are not a WhatsApp user you might want to set that up before you place your order with Raymond.
4. Your car will be upgraded and working the moment the process is finished. I have experienced no glitches or changes in functionality, just use of the full HD screen!
