apple carplay has a major lag in my macan. I have a 2022 GTS.
screen will be showing someone talking and it just lags hardcore.

is this a known issue? any way to resolve it?

i also have a 22 and i have not seen that.. have you tried wired vs, wirelss and see if there is any difference

I am not tech savvy , but I can tell you PCM is not great
I guess this is the compromise of driving a Porsche

No CarPlay lag in my 2018 Macon using Apple USB wired connection. Then again I don't use it to watch video.

I have a 2021 model. Don’t use an IPhone but my fiancé does when she drives the car. I have not seen any lag with Wireless CarPlay.

Is this a native feature of CarPlay? None of my friends that use CarPlay (non Porsche cars) have that ability to view videos on the head unit.

I have found that watching videos on CarPlay (wired and not) has a big delay. Not that I tried to do this, but on the times that I have tried to bring up a YouTube video for something, I have found that there is a big delay on it. Its the same on everything. Have a 2015 BMW with the bluetooth system and its the same on that one too - not video, just the sound! Was trying to program the damn Homelink thing and had to watch several videos to get the right combination of button presses!
