I got a 2018 used Porsche Macan without CarPlay. The dealer wanted 3k to install!!! Nuts!
I looked into this forum for solutions, but I was leery of getting scammed. Very, very leery. Raymond solved all that for me. He bent over backwards…their customer service was phenomenal and I have the car up and running with CarPlay for A LOT less!

Do a search for simi - he upgraded my nav maps and turned on my voice activation (I already had apple car play) and has a ton of positive reviews. Way cheaper than the dealer too.
I was a bit leery of an overseas solution (better safe thansorry) so I used an old computer with nothing else on it and an email account set up solely for this and then deleted. With that said, I have not heard of anyone that got scammed but you need to get comfortable, however.
BTW, after he turned on my voice activation, I know why Porsche didn't turn it on... it absolutely sucks. I only use Apple Car Play
