New Macan Transport Needed
Need recommendations for a vehicle transport company. About to take delivery of a 23’ Macan GTS in the Washington DC area and need shipped to Esoteric Auto Detail in Columbus, OH. Anyone have any companies or individuals in mind?
* Should I consider a closer detailer for PPF, Ceramic, and Tint?

Try Auto Armour in Columbia Maryland. The owner’s name is Cliff. He did full PPF on my ‘23 Macan GTS only about a month ago. My car is Carmine Red. You are welcome to come check it out if you want to see his work before reaching out to him. Just PM me.

I live close to Esoteric (within three hours) and will likely use them going forward. I've seen their work up close and it's excellent. Their communication is always excellent too. I remember back in 2013 or so, prior to them being as big as they are now, I drove down to Columbus and asked them to paint meter my car for me and Todd Cooperider, the founder, did so for me at no cost.
If you're looking for somewhere closer though, I've heard of GlaswerksDMV. They're also a sponsor on here.

I've (SoCal) talked to them about doing work on my italian via a reference, and they seemed just fine. Is it true they are physically attached/associated with a Ferrari dealership?

check with the dealer , they usually do a bunch of transport for clients, and will have few names to recommend , and probably couple of individual businesses as compared to big company which when you call most likely you will be talking to a broker and they will assign your car to a specific truck

time frame is better with 1-2 car carrier vs a bigger truck

I have used these guys several times w/ good results. A bit more pricey but they put your car in a single level enclosed trailer and haul it w/ an F-550 or similar. Trailer holds only 1-2 cars. No risk of damage being moved around on an enclosed stacker trailer several times as it goes across the country making stops w/ other cars.
