Hello all.
I went to look at a 2018 Macan GTS for sale last night. The dash was damaged with the leading edge separating from the main dash.Is this something common with Macans? Has anyone ever seen this happen? The dealership said they would fix it, but I’m wondering how much something like this cost if it ever happens again.
should I steer clear?
I've seen it reported on the internet and not just Macans. Most likely from lots of parking outside in the sun and never using a windshield sunshade. See if the hands on the dash clock have broken off as well. That's another common issue with never using windshield sunshades.

I always run a sunshade or have the windshield tinted. Probably why I have never had issues in any car. Everyone w/ a leather dash should do the same.
