Makes sense. I noticed that there was an update to the Taycan that increased range by a small but significant amount, which indicates that they are learning a lot with that platform. I can only guess that they have to now roll this into the new one with the new management system. You might be able to get away with a sub-200 mile range on the Taycan for some models, but I would suggest that the EV Macan needs to be a minimum of 300 for performance and getting close to 400 for 'efficiency' models to keep them competitive. Sounds like they want to get it right and make sure its all working - pushing out constant updates isnt a great experience, so a delay sounds reasonable.

 

Totally agree. I am hoping it keeps getting pushed back or at least offering the real engine version for some time to come. Wouldn't mind buying another GTS in a few years.
