I am in Pittsburgh
my car was supposed to be here 9/30 , then 10/7 then 12/9
and the problem I am having is I am driving my 718 Spyder on Cup 2 tires , was expecting the GTS to be here , and unfortunately Mother Nature is not cooperating , it seems colder weather has been fairly early this year.

I'm wondering how much different (better? quieter?) the GTS would be with Michelin Pilot Sport AS instead of the Pirellis. My experience is that the Michelins are usually more compliant and quieter in general, but my '21 GTS has 20" wheels so I'm wondering how much different the ride will be if I get a '23 GTS with 21" wheels, even with Michelins.

but the tuning is different
I have driven the S but not the GTS .
My son who drove both, tells me that exhaust note on GTS is different than S
and I have noticed that in other models like 992 S vs GTS even with same engines
the reason I am asking
I have GTS on order and it keeps getting delayed by at least 2 months
my dealer has an S coming in a week, with acceptable specs , and I am thinking of picking that up as I got tired from waiting on GTS

Glad it worked out for you. The Cayenne is a bigger car than I need. I had 2 BMW X-5s and 4 Lexus RXs and now 3 Macans. The Macan is the right size for me and does so many things well. I'll get another in a couple of years.

Was at the dealer this week getting a tire fixed and a salesman pulled in next to me to park, to wait for a customer for a test drive in a new Cayenne GTS - Got to say the V8 burble was awesome - we chatted a bit and he rev'd it for me - very nice sound! Enjoy it in good health!

Plus the Premium Plus Package is actually a good deal relative to the individual items, all of which I would spec aside from Lane Change Assist (useless). Shocking to call anything related to Porsche options a good deal of course.

I will also note that the Macan sunroof is designed about as well as any. When it is open, very little air blowing around in the car.
