I am experiencing a thump/bump sound and feel everytime I put me Macan into park after driving for a few minutes but only on gentle grades or slopes.??

Anyone out there experiencing the same sensation??

Try applying your parking brake BEFORE engaging the transmission into park.

 

I’ve noticed this also on my ‘22 GTS when it was brand new. I now have little over 3,000 miles on this vehicle and the roughness/thumping sound is gone. I’m pretty sure that it was a “new car thing” during the break in period.
