Has anyone cross shopped the two? I know two different vehicles but when I make my list of alternatives to my aging A8 these are top of list. Curious if anyone as done a deep dive comparo.

My DD is the D4 A8L 4.2 . the car is amazing. Wife drives MACAN and loves it. Me personally I don't like SUV , regardless of the trim. I like sedan
( and my 993 ) if me, I go for the A6 . one thing the MACAN will hold better value then the AUDI.
If you are coming from the A8 , test drive the MACAN before making your decision and ask the A6 forums for info.
