Why didn't this post get more love? I was just about to start a new thread, but this deserves to be bumped. It looks fantastic.
Please let me know (via DM if preferred) what the cost was, and any other thoughts you have after a couple months of ownership. Strongly considering doing this on my incoming 23 GTS in black.
Edit: also found this little YouTube gem:

Contrary opinion here, but that's what a forum is for.
Was going for a Papaya order, but artist wife was tired of the reds in the past. We have had an agreement last 52 years that I get whatever Porsche and options I want, she gets the color. I am for canyon carving, so color a secondary criterion.
I have had Xpel on the 911 TT for 14 years. If ceramic had been available at new delivery, would have gone ceramic, which I did with the Macan. What I like about ceramic is that it keeps the stunning shiny look that Porsche spent so much trouble on leaving the factory. So, Apples and oranges, and a different level of protection from each. I had the front end of my 993 resprayed by a Pebble Beach Concours artist at 100K miles. Not cheap, but perfect match and looked like the day it left the factory. That's what I'll do with the Macan.
Flame suit on. fire at will.

I won't argue the "need" for PPF on a Macan; as I've mentioned on this forum and others, I don't think a Macan requires protective film due to the height of the vehicle and the prevalence of plastic on the bumper. But for this look in these pictures, it's either the stealth film or a vinyl wrap. I personally vastly prefer the film for many reasons.
Ceramic is another matter entirely. There are now ceramic options that are as easy to apply DIY as carnauba wax and last 10x as long. Pro ceramic is still going to cost ~$600-1500 to apply, but will last even longer. Won't protect vs rock chips pretty much at all. Can be applied over protective film as well.

I don't like Papaya but I'd take it in a second with the stealth PPF. Looks amazing, congrats.
