Default Any Hams on Here?

I am curious if any ham radio operators are driving Macans. I imagine there are but has anyone installed either HF or VHF radio in their Macan. I’m wondering about mounting locations, interference with computers and sensors and any adverse impact on battery management. Years ago I had HF and 2m in my new 924 with no problems. More recently I had HF in my 2010 BMW 535i and that didn’t go well.

I look forward to hearing your pros and cons.

Thanks,
Charlie

I used to run Yaesu 2M/440 mobile on my X5 with a mounting point to the side of the liftgate. When I got Cayenne Turbo for my wife, she only allowed a magnetic mount antenna for my Yaesu dual-band handheld. I place it on the roof in front of the rooftop spoiler and no interferrence to NAV or any system in the car. With that, I don't think I am going HF on my car anytime soon.
